Greenpoint Tackle Co is the new home of  " Sharp Eye" lures. We were formerly known as Hand Carved Lures.

Targeted species are primarily striped-bass, bluefish, weakfish, snook, tarpon, redfish...but If it swims we can help you catch it.

The lures are fashioned after realistic baitfish profiles in varying sizes ranging from 1/2  ounce to 3 oz. Made primarily from Alaskan yellow cedar (AYC), used for its weight and strength coupled with natural saltwater resistant properties.

'Sharp Eye' lures are fully sealed, meaning the whole lure is water-tight and through-wired with stainless steel to ensure a reliable connection while hauling in that fish of a lifetime.  We also utilize stainless steel, custom hand-cut or laser cut lips, depending on the model of lure. 

VMC hooks are used on all lures.

Sharp Eye lures may be ordered with colors and sizes listed, you can also request a custom design of your own. So please contact us if you don’t see what you’re looking for in the product list. We can produce a good rendition of any baitfish in a wide range of colors.

Orders usually ship within 2-3 weeks if not sooner, depending on the season and volume of current orders.

Every lure is water tested prior to shipping.
